    We are seeing our backlogs increase in screening mammography and diagnostic appointments. We prioritize patients that need to get into our center for more urgent exams. We are partnering with our sister mammography sites to offer improved access to services. Our goal is to serve you as soon as possible.

  • CMBC Breast MRI Exams Now Available at TRA Gig Harbor

    Now, every other Wednesday, CMBC offers breast MRI’s for high-risk patients and patients with dense breasts in Gig Harbor, at TRA. These exams are read by the same radiologists as at CMBC Tacoma, and the TRA Gig Harbor site is equipped with the newest MRI technology within TRA.

Breast Biopsy

For your ultrasound-guided breast biopsy appointment, you should plan on being in the center for a couple of hours, which will include all pre- and post-procedure care. The procedure itself will take about 15 minutes.

The Bridging Care Program seeks to reduce patients’ worries and to improve care transitions. This program will initiate treatment in a quick and timely manner for patients who need it. It also encourages patients to re-connect with their primary care providers for additional support.
